A BIG THANKS to everyone who came and helped out for our Chinese New Year 2011 Year of the Rabbit celebration. Thanks to your huge support, it was yet another successful one.

I have received a few pictures from Sarah of the Lion Dance performers taken after their performance for Chinese New Year and have posted them below.

Pictures of PG-X 2010 And CBA Picnic August 29 2010

Hello, everyone! First of all, THANK YOU to all those who came out to volunteer for our annual fundraising on July 1st at Fort George Park and for PG-X (Prince George Exhibition Fair August 11 to 15th)! It’s certainly not possible for us to continue with our events throughout the year without your hard work and efforts! THANKS!

Ching Ming April 2 2010

In observance of Ching Ming (清明節), members of the Chinese Benevolent Association congregated at the Prince George Cemetary on Friday April 2nd at noon to pay respects to those in the community who has passed away and participated in the ceremony honoring the dead.

Here are some pictures taken of the monument and plaques that were a joint venture of the City of Prince George, Prince George Chinese Heritage Preservation committee with support from the Chinese Freemason Society, Chinese Benevolent Association, Chee Duck Tong and the Chinese Student and Professional Association.

Annual General Meeting

Our Annual General Meeting was held Saturday March 27 at AimHi Gym. The previous Board of Directors were voted in with one additional Board member. Please help me welcome our newest CBA Director, Wendy Lee! Thank you for joining the Board and giving us your valuable time to help out with our Association!

We were very privileged to have in attendance, our previous President, Lily Chow! It was very nice to see you! Thanks for coming!

Chinese New Year Celebration Sun Feb 21st 2010

Hello! The Chinese Benevolent Association of Prince George will be celebrating Chinese New Year of the Tiger ( 虎年春節聚餐 ) on Sunday February 21st from 11:30am to 2:30pm at China Cup Buffet, #121 – 1600 5th Avenue.

We will be having performances from our Lion Dance Team, and other talented performers followed by lunch and a lucky draw.
